I like the acrylic platter It’s a good non-ringing material If they embedded 5 steel weights near outer edge of platter it would increase inertia Is there a felt mat on top? Wonder if platter could be illuminated All the engineering is for nothing though Looks like hard plastic feet and no suspension Vibration will ruin any performance Pink Triangle used a thicker frosted acrylic

A full acrylic cabinet probably has atrocious sonic properties, but you might get away with a small, thick acrylic window in an MDF cabinet But yes, that is indeed quite beautifully designed for a component that (most likely) won't be visually appreciated
