I've been looking at changing up the way I browse the web in a more secure way and have been using the Lynx terminal browser I came across a neat search engine called FrogFind! which is basically a proxy that uses the Duckduckgo search engine and then strips websites into a basic HTML format

I have used Lynx, Links2, Elinks and probably one or two others But my termninal-based browser of choice is w3m I use it a lot when I'm working in the terminal, or whenever I'm trying to stay on task and want to avoid losing focus I'm sure you've all been there

Web Browsers - Linux org - Friendly Linux Forum I have them all installed except for Cyberfox I'm kind of a browser junkie I don't use them all regularly but I do use several at the same time They're all used for different purposes and have different tabs open I find this workflow easier and it never hurts to have a little compartmentalization I don't think I've yet tried Cyberfox I know

I've done something, I don't know what, that has changed the way my screen is displaying e g The Firefox (all screens) are way over sized and move around with the mouse pointer It's making me vaguely seasick Also the icons at the bottom left are now dark instead of coloured, making them difficult to see Help for an aging noob much appreciated

6 Firefox is super slow on it, but lynx works fine I would like it to have java capabilities All the good things about debian: 1 easy-ish to install 2 easy to use 3 pretty customizable I would like to know if there are any better distros to use and what gui I should use, in Debian I tried LXDE and XFCE, both worked nothing else worked
