The "PearDeck shuffle" is a known problem that their engineers are working on but cannot find a fix for as of yet, unless you're willing to disable "PearDeck PowerUp", but then your presentation is shrunk and videos won't play

true you should try mentimeter (mentimeter com) an office in my town recently used mentimeter to host some training webinars on zoom meetings and I likedsome of the cool features on mentimeter that peardeck doesn't have (on mentimeter you can view a user's IP address in case you need to remove them from your presentation)

true Pear Deck is like upgraded clickers They can answer multiple choice questions but also type, draw (have to pay), submit numbers for math problems, etc If can see individual students' answers and even reply back directly to them in real time to give corrections I used it a lot during the lockdown I don't use it much now because having devices out is an invitation to getting distracted
