- ASA Prepware sign-off for written - Pilots of America
Anyone use prepware ASA to get their written sign-off? I'm not seeing how to do it on their web site, it just says, submit 2 tests at 80% or better to get your sign-off

I'm working through each and every question for the instrument written using ASA PrepWare I know that some FAA test questions are deliberately designed to be impossible to answer with the information given (due to such things as the MSA being unreadable on an approach plate, that sort of thing)

You don't get that in the ASA Prepware; it's on another window you have to select ASA puts out some great learning and teaching tools Prepware isn't one of them But for a realistic test experience it gives you a good idea what you'll face with CATS or Lasergrade Used together, I think one will be much better prepared for written exams

For the iDevice owners, ASA Prepware is a good app This gives me the chance to study anytime I want The format is easy to use, and provides the explanation to the correct answer along with the reference to the correct FAA material The moral of this is, work through at least two sources of test material to make sure you are exposed to it all

But you won't be able to bring it into the test with you I've only flown 1,400 hrs, but I've never used a stand-alone flight computer except for FAA written tests
