After Rome2Rio, I move on to other sources, like country specific train sites, etc I usually find google maps to be fairly accurate though frequently the smaller more local modes of transportation may not be included Its all kind of a process I will report an extremely positive experience with Rome2Rio

Rome2Rio is great for initial trip planning but it's not always accurate I'd always go to the source to buy train tickets, if possible I had no trouble using the Trenitalia app in May to buy train tickets with my phone as needed You can register with Trenitalia if you like so you don't have to keep re-typing your name and info each time you buy tickets - but it requires generating a tax

Rome2rio is very unreliable I use it to research which companies are offering services on a certain route then go to those company's websites to see their schedule and buy tickets

As much as I like Rome2rio for giving transportation options and rough estimates on travel times, I've never depended on it for route planning and more precise time intervals when driving

Rome2Rio is laughably inaccurate very, very often I find it can usually be relied on to indicate whether a particular form of transportation is available between two towns, but you absolutely cannot trust the travel times, frequencies or fares it gives you

Rome2Rio has come up with real wild and exotic routes and prices - I follow the reports of what people have turned up as entertainment Truly wacky stuff Use it perhaps to get a broad overview but do not trust the results at all
