- Help Wanted: Supermicro x10SL7-F Now stuck in infinite boot loop
Today I completed a routine firmware update for one of my two Supermicro x10SL7-F motherboards - simply going from BIOS v3 3 to v3 4 using the IPMI interface - everything seemed to go fine until the machine restarted and now I am caught in an infinite reboot loop The board displays the usual
- Supermicro H11SSL-I-O only heartbeat light, no system power light
So here is the issue, we are using the Supermicro H11SSL-I-O with AMD EPYC 7551 and 2-8 sticks of memory, M2 SS2, and a 650W-750W power supply The system worked fine, powered on, and everything was installed setup prior to shipping out After landing, when they plug it into the power supply, all they're getting is the heartbeat LED light

So to introduce the problem, I have a SuperMicro X10DRI-T4+ installed in a Fractal Define 7 XL case with Noctua fans The Noctua fans spin slow enough that they can repeatedly trigger the "lower critical" and "lower non-recoverable" alerts in the SuperMicro IPMI, especially on a cold boot
