Looking for a good explanation explaining the difference between these two modes I understand the wattage reduction, but what else happens to the signal (eq, overdrive, etc ) when an amp is flipped between the two? Thanks for any info

Balanced DC triodes do seem to make a difference in the resulting plate voltages on the PI As most of us know, if one half of the signal clips sooner than the other, which is the result of unbalanced plate voltages, the amp will break up sooner Not to say that this is necessarly "bad" since some ears may prefer this

This weekends Triode mode settings: V = 12 - 12:30 T = 1 - 2 M = 8:30 - 9 B = 12:30 I'll definitely be experimenting more with the Triode settings in the coming weeks As much as I love the onboard reverb I'm usually only at about 8 o clock and never go above 9 because I feel it's too much whenever I kick on an od or a fuzz pedal
