Yelp is the mafia if you don’t pay for advertising, they will hide your listing or allow negative reviews to stay and remove 5 stars But once you start paying for extra advertising, all of the sudden, your 5 stars will reappear

But for yelp the discrepancy is much larger in many cases, I have seem restaurants getting 4 9 on google with more than 6000 reviews and then on yelp they get 3 8-3 5 based on 30 reviews wtf ?

Here's my nightmare If you're thinking about using yelp, consider it garbage These guys literally charged me almost $1000 in the course of 3 months for a mere 66 page visits and 4 people getting directions to my store It is absolutely insane if you consider the ROI I paused my account for three months, and when it was automatically unpaused, they themselves set my account to the highest
