- The first Remo plastic heads? | [DFO] Drum Forum
I know Remo started making plastic drum heads in 1957, but when did they start to show up on drum sets made by Ludwig, Gretsch, Kent etc Just wondering, thanks Mouse
- Remo Clear Pinstripes | Page 2 | [DFO] Drum Forum
I believe they were Remo's answer to the Evans hydraulics epidemic in the mid-late 70s I hated the hydraulics, but I needed something beefier and more durable than Ambassadors, and Pinstripes fit the bill Even though I use other heads from time to time, I still consider Pinstripes as my default tom batter head unless I need something different
- New vs old Remo Pinstripes - [DFO] Drum Forum
I've read people saying that newer Pinstripes aren't as dead sounding than the old ones I can't find anything about the construction of Pinstripes changing over the years Did they actually change the specs or are people just misremembering how badly they tuned their old drums when they had
- Remo Drumset | [DFO] Drum Forum

- REMO LEGERO NESTING KIT | [DFO] Drum Forum
The Remo Legero is pretty scare in my neck of the woods Are they still made ? I would assume mixing would need to be in order One other portable kit that I really like is the sadly discontinued Purecussion RIMS kits Click to expand The Whitney option is the Roll Royce of this category, IMO Let me know if you see one for $200, I'll
- Remo “Enforcer” drums | [DFO] Drum Forum
Enforcer was made by Remo---decades ago---they are good solid drums They look like standard rock sizes 12,13,16,22, and the snare looks like a 14 x 6 5---These would be a fine place to start if he is wanting to get into drumming
