Put more simply, the information provided by the previous commenter that FDR cannot commence a legal action against you if your debt is older than two years is only partially correct The two year clock in this case starts from the last time you make a payment on this debt

After 14 years get a call from the FDR (financial debt recovery) for a debt of $2000 owed in 1998 to HBC, gone into default in 2001 The interest accumulation period considered on it is from 1998-2014 Was scared for solicitation also included on the phone
