Something to note- I named the upgrades something different from the main The base is named Unarmored Defense, then the Additional is named Unarmored Defense Level 5 Could that cause the issue? I don't see that second name at all listed under Features and Traits on the character sheet despite being level 5, so maybe it isn't applying?

Unarmored Defense (both for the Monk and the Barbarian) is not a bonus, it's a calculation ----- So, the resolution to this is kind of two fold: 1- the current Oath of Redemption rules don't create a conflict here, because they don't have an AC calculation nor bonus, at all
