Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment is 42 8 GB on Switch 2 That's 3x bigger than the other Hyrule Warriors games
- Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition or Hyrule Warriors: Age . . . - ResetEra
Hyrule warriors is the better game; age of calamity has a lot of ideas that are cool on paper but ended up feeling to the detriment, for example, everyone's movesets having to be built around the 4 slate abilities made them feel much less varied than those of definitive edition
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment - Review Thread Nintendo
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a stunning slice of action, and my favourite musou game so far Lessons have been learned from both Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity, resulting in a game that balances big-time story with top-notch combat that's got proper depth to it With Zonai devices to play with, a cracking roster, tons of sexy Sync Strikes to pull off, and a ludicrously slick
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment |OT| This time it’s Ganon
Actually I like the idea of Hyrule getting founded over and over again - because there's just something about the land and the original landing point of the three goddesses that draws people back to it And makes the land evoke certain things for whoever takes up residence
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment - Review Thread Nintendo
the first hyrule warriors had an insanely bloated roster by the time the definitive edition launched on the switch age of calamity still has characters I've barely ever touched
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment arrives on November 6
Threadmarks Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is 44 7 GB, according to the eShop Index

Like, looking back at the OG Hyrule Warriors, all of the original characters they made up for that game were the worst characters because they were just these one-note randos shoved into the cast to fill the roster out Lana is an utterly generic genki girl, her twin is generic boob villain lady, Volga is just a red knight, etc
- Which Hyrule Warriors Game Was Better? - ResetEra
My personal opinion at the moment is the Age of Calamity base game is better than Hyrule Warriors original base game, but Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition with all DLC is better than Age of Calamity But Age of Calamity could turn out better if the DLC situation for its Definitive Edition raises it to that level
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment announced for Switch 2 . . . - ResetEra
I've loved both the Hyrule Warriors games, but I would much prefer another "totally new, ridiculous story, mash-up of multiple games" The Age of Calamity was fun, but it just being an alt-universe time-travel mix-up faux-prequel was kinda lame
- Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment |OT| This time it’s Ganon
It's pretty much doing exactly what I want outside of the one disappointment I listed above Hopefully all of that is addressed with post-game support, since the first Hyrule warriors not only added new characters in the first update, but also story missions for them all
