Just commenting for people who stumble across this threat, going into the Ubisoft Connect setting and under Downloads, putting on the Limiter and sliding the bar to 200mb s seems to at least increase download speeds by 4x the amount

As you can see in the images, Steam is able to download at 97 5MB s peak (around 70-75 avg), whereas Ubisoft is dead steady at 21 3 21 4MB s My ISP has a 1Gbps download rate, so Steam is capped at my max, Ubisoft isn't

It’s insane how awful the download speed is on Ubisoft Connect right now Started downloading Legion at 13:00 today, it’s now 21:00 and 14 63GB out of 36 84 is all that’s done My internet is capable of up to 30MB s on Steam no problem yet the max I’ve seen during this entire download is 1 5MB s with regular dips to 500KB s and even lower Was really hoping to play Legion at the launch

I think this issue may not have solution on client side I had network issues when downloading from uplay (when no speed limit was set or it was hugher than 2 MB s iirc my network adapter shut down, but all was ok with steam and origin) last year but at some moment problem was gone Was that because of my windows update or my hardware upgrade or ubi servers netcode fix -DIK why

My friend and I were installing Rainbow Six Siege to play together, he's got the Steam version, I've unfortunately got it on Ubisoft Connect Same ethernet to the same router, his computer is actually faster than mine, more disk space, etc
