My annual fee on my platinum came up in mid December and it says that the due date for the statement with the annual fee is January 8th Now that I'm in a new year, can I use the $200 credit today in conjunction with a Delta gift card and get the credit before I cancel the card? Will they claw back the credit?

The language in the agreement seems to imply that additional card members have access to the lounge but I am pretty sure that is not the case with my non Delta AMEX platinum? Also for additional card members, there was an option to pay $175 a year for a reserve card for my spouse or to get a platinum card for what looks to be for free

My new spouse has his own Delta Amex Platinum card At present, I pay the $450 annual fee and get all the Reserve benefits My spouse pays the $195 annual fee for his DL Plat card and gets the Plat benefits: 10,000 MQM boost, coach-only companion cert, no SkyClub, etc The annual fee for an additional cardholder on my Reserve account would be $175
