I only took pathophysiology through them so I guess it could be different, but the quizzes were basically study guides and not proctored Just extended response questions essentially Then proctored exams of course I honestly hated portage, but it was cheap and the class wasn’t super difficult Set yourself a schedule since it is self paced you could really procrastinate it and make things

I had wasted 7 months in Portage Learning, and using Portage Learning was the worst decision I made in my education I quit my job in order to concentrate to pass the two courses with portage learning, I was enrolled in Nutrition and College Algebra, and I was hoping to complete the courses with them, but when I realize they are playing with me
- Question about Portage Classes : r prephysicianassistant - Reddit
I'm considering taking Microbiology and or A P II with Portage I haven't taken any classes where it is self-paced and no live lectures so I am looking to get a feel for what it may be like Was it hard time consuming learning everything on your own? With a full time job, how many hours per week would you say the course (s) require? (I'm aware it can be taken as quickly or slowly as you want

So, I originally had been wanting to take Portage courses for nursing because they're self-paced and fully online, another benefit was that Portage allowed you to enroll into A P1 2 and Microbio at the same time regardless of pre-requisites sequence, my local schools will only allow you to take Microbio after you complete A P2, so if you follow the natural sequence strictly it could take a

- Looking to earn college credit online? DO NOT use Portage Learning. Let . . .
Portage learning does not allow any type of outside study material You can not use any other website, book, study guide or subsequent study material of any kind I found this frustrating since the "study" material they did provide did not work with my learning habits and to be honest just didn't have good verbiage or a good set up
- ABSN prereqs through Portage Learning : r StudentNurse - Reddit
Intro to Sociology OR Psychology and I am thinking of taking them through Portage Learning I was wondering if that is a realistic goal That aside, I was also reading another thread saying that Portage only lets you take one module exam every 48 hours and that they have a policy that you can't finish a class faster than 21 days

I just finished lifespan development through portage Learning about a month ago for my ABSN prereq It was very simpily laid out and only took a little over a month to complete If your school accepts portage and you are good about learning outside of a classroom then id highly recommend it
