The Suffolk County Bar Association is the New York State approved body for reviewing and resolving Attorney-Client Fee Disputes in accordance with 22NYCRR§137 in the County of Suffolk

Fee arbitration requests are processed on a first-in, first-out basis, and we typically have 50 to 70 matters in progress at any given time In most cases, the fee arbitration process takes approximately six to twelve months
