- How Atsushi was forced to help others, and why it weighs on . . . - Reddit
Atsushi is very different from a typical protagonist, who try's to save everybody they can, and never wants to kill anyone Because he didn't develop this mindset from an inspiring, kind mentor; or from some innate sense of justice, or even from just his own hardships It was literally beaten into him through his whole childhood graphic depiction of abuse ahead: Atsushi is compelled to help
- Why Atsushi is an amazing protagonist; and how BSD is able to . . . - Reddit
I want to talk about one of my favourite things about bsd and Atsushi as a protagonist The fact that the show questions why you should do the right thing In most media, the idea of helping people being good is simply a fact, the protagonist is doing the right thing because they are trying to help others and even if a villain try's to shake their belief in that, its normally by just saying
- Favorite BSD Quotes : r BungouStrayDogs - Reddit
Let's take a little break from the trauma the latest chapter has brought What's your favorite quotes from our beloved BSD characters? - Do you guys think Atsushi is a good main character? - Reddit
I remember only seeing hate comments towards Atsushi on the episodes when i first watched bsd and it honestly made me sad, but I can understand where the hate is coming from If you don’t like shy, passive main characters, then Atsushi is definitely not for you (and that’s fine!)
- Why did the headmaster keep the truth from Atsushi? (season 3 . . . - Reddit
In Season 3, episode 6, Dazai mentions that the headmaster kept Atsushi's secret, even from Atsushi himself and that it must have taken another enormous amount of self-control I was watching the movie, Dead Apple, and locked away in Atsushi's suppressed memories, we discover that he once killed someone in self-defence
- Atshushi is the best bsd character : r BungouStrayDogs - Reddit
Usually in other anime manga character opinions are a lot more concrete, with characters either already liking everything about someone and making the occasional judgemental side eye or them growing to just like everything about them but more than once Atsushi has displayed actual critical thinking towards all the agency members understanding
- A small theory about Atsushis connection to The Book
In season 3, when the Headmaster of Atsushi's orphanage died, Atsushi mentions something about a quote he read in a book at the orphanage to Dazai He also monologues a bit about how he forgot what the title of the book he read was and i think that was really intriguing
- I made a brutal BSD kinnie assessment quiz for fun! Care to . . . - Reddit
I feel personally attacked by your 6 question quiz and I refuse to kin atsushi Even though I love him very much, Kinda scary accurate in places good job Now I’ll be over here quietly pinning Illumi from hunter x hunter 😭 (Incase my tone is hard to read I think you did a great job, it’s pretty accurate, I love atsushi but 😭) Reply reply Xx_Nana_xX • Reply reply More replies
- Complete Dead Apple Explanation : r BungouStrayDogs - Reddit
While there isn’t a lot of information given about Shibusawa’s and Atsushi’s connection, what we do get is very interesting Shibusawa is consistently referred to as a Dragon during Dead Apple, and while subtitles usually translate everything as “tiger”, Atsushi’s tiger is actually referred to as “Byakko” half of the time
- Bsd characters canon height and ages vs What I thought they were . . .
Bsd characters canon height and ages vs What I thought they were because I was really wrong about some of them (Part 2, Port Mafia members)
