Since Naf Naf Grill eliminated their schnitzel, I might have to order Fiya this week to get my fix It's definitely a different treatment on the schnitzel from NafNaf (which was a decent representation) Fiya's is traditional but I couldn't quite determine the spice blend They said za'atar, but there's something else in there

Cafe Laguardia West will make you a jibarito (using a much better cheese than El Borinquen) on request I don't think their steak, whether the cut or the marinade, is quite up to snuff, but I still enjoy the overall sandwich better I just noticed this is a standard item on the original location menu but can't speak to the quality there

Continuing along with the taco spots at the extremely popular Urban Taco in Uptown This is a Modern Mexican restaurant where they're putting out top tacos as well as cocktails and other Mexican favorites One of the options off their taco menu was featured in a Texas Monthly roundup of the best tacos in the state and it caught my eye
