- How to make pitch and yaw control less twitchy - AVSIM
Like many others I felt the pitch and yaw control in MSFS is way too twitchy Here is how I fixed – or at least worked around – it: 1 Always remember to make a backup before you edit any file ;-) 2 The Flight Model is set to "Modern" 3 The Sensitivity in the Controls Settings is set to defau
- Is there a fix for twitchy pitch on C310R? - AVSIM
I've tried for some time to reduce the sensitivity of my yoke, but wow, my Blackbird C10R is way too twitchy on pitch Any suggestions for making the pitch less twitchy by adjusting a parameter in the flight_model cfg or by some other means? No twitchy pitch in C414AW when I compare the two out o
- Are these planes this twitchy in real life? - AVSIM
So the question remains - are these planes this twitchy in real life? And I'm not just talking about the effect of moving the stick but more specifically the drastic effect of slight movements of control surfaces on the plane's changes in attitude
- Helicopters FM evaluation - FS 2024 - AVSIM
Expand Agree the H125 is very twitchy Hmmm, in my case if I do the quick trim and then release the stick it goes straight back to high pitch up and banking Will check if I have done something wrong I find the G2 much more enjoyable as you can actual trim it as required for phase of flight
- T. Flight Rudder Pedals for Fenix A320 - AVSIM
That means you will get very twitchy controls when using the necessary rudder deflection in crosswind takeoffs and landings Leave the sensitivity at zero to get linear controls so you have the same sensitivity no matter how much rudder deflection you need for your takeoff run
- MSFS 2024 flight dynamics and ground water handling thread
Aircraft have weight and inertia Trimming is much better, less twitchy No way to land anywhere now - I've tried simulated force landings and you now have to choose a landing site very carefully! Turbulence is great and seems to interact with the terrain trees better than 2020 Plenty of problems still on day 2 though - streaming is very slow
- Rudder Pedal Sensitivity - AVSIM
Hello Everyone, I'm getting back in to MSFS after well over a decade of absence - like starting from scratch really I'm using Logitech G940 pedals and having a problem with sensitivity I can't seem to dial out them being super twitchy, resulting in wild yawing on take off unless I'm really, rea
- Fenix A320 Rudder Steering on Takeoffs and Landings - AVSIM
Hello, fellow virtual pilots! So, I have had my Fenix A320 for going on two weeks now I love the way she flies, but I seem to be having issues with how she handles during takeoff roll and certainly landings (specifically touchdown) The airplane seems to be a bit touchy on takeoff roll--meaning
- GA planes in 2024 recommendations? - Page 4 - Microsoft Flight . . . - AVSIM
I find the default 172 in MSFS2024 to be really twitchy, but I have not spent any time dialing in the controller (CH Yoke) In MSFS2020, adjusting the sensitivity only didn't do much, but when I adjusted the Extremity Deadzone to a positive value, it REALLY cut down on the twitchiness
- Are default aircraft in FS2024 editable? - AVSIM
Are the default FS2024 aircraft like the C172 editable flight model wise? It looks to me from early YouTube videos that many of the aircraft demonstrate (yet again) twitchiness in control, particularly yaw steering on the ground and way too twitchy in pitch
