- Best vacuum cleaner? Is it worth servicing an old Dyson . . . - Mumsnet
Service your dyson Ours is over 12 years old, and for £80 we got a full service and most bits replaced The collection bit, the motor, the whirly bit that picks up dust and more all included in the £80 It's basically a new hoover except for the back frame bit and cable The service took about an hour on a Saturday
- Dyson £79 service. Is it worth it? | Mumsnet
That's the joy of a dyson service though, everything is included in the £79, so if you suspect it's on it's last legs, well worth it

- My battery Dyson doesn’t last | Mumsnet
IHopeYouStepOnALegPiece · 13 11 2023 08:14 instead of throwing it out to buy another brand and adding to landfill 🙄 contact Dyson customer service and discuss getting a new battery They have fantastic customer support and have found them extremely helpful (even when I was the problem and dropped the hoover and smashed it into pieces 😂)
- Is a Dyson hairdryer worth it? - Mumsnet
My Dyson is a few years old how and after a few minutes overheats (even when not on a high setting) and cuts out, have to wait a few minutes before turning back on I like how the motor isn't at the back and therefore hair doesn't get tangled in (and I can safely let DC use it) I'm looking for a new brand

- Which vacuum should I buy? | Mumsnet
Watching in the hope that someone can suggest a vacuum that sucks and doesn’t suck Had a Dyson animal a few years ago then bought a Shark which lasted just over 2 years Bought a Miele for almost £500 and it’s really good on hard floors but doesn’t pick up on carpets even with the turbo head Next time I think I’m just going to buy a cheap one from Amazon and replace every year as I
- To ask you to talk to me about Dysons | Mumsnet
