They sent us a direct depost form filled out with their information We then just sent that along with the $2000 to the address the academy provided It must of worked because the pay gets deposited in the right account every month (at least that how I remember us doing it) Best bet, get a phone number and give the bank a call

My DS liquidated his account at home and sent a cashier's check to set up an account with Navy Federal, before I-Day It's good to be able to write the account number down on the form, so that your pay gets direct-deposited from the start, but as @MidCakePa writes above, you can wait until I-Day to set up an account, if you want
