Hey guys, so I have noticed a couple of people recently have posted asking for help with using Ubisoft Connect on Linux So I have created a quick video on how to get this working using Lutris

Here is all of the troubleshooting I've tried and had no success with: invite join from the Ubisoft connect app, delete reinstall the game and Ubisoft connect, switch Wi-Fi, restart pc game, verify game files, tried to switch squad privacy (invite only is the only option), shift + f2, invite through steam, and I tried using a different account

My whole Ubisoft Connect PC app broke when I exited the game It says I never owned it, even though I have a desktop shortcut for it When I click the desktop shortcut, it asks for an Activation Code, which I never received and can't get it from the game because it doesn't appear in my owned games

Just when the Windows Xbox app was starting to behave they've made it launch Ubisoft Connect app even if you're not playing one of the Ubi games on Game Pass - you can spot it running in the task bar system tray

If that doesn’t work, make sure to download the Ubisoft connect app and from there, make sure to turn on a setting that will send you a notification to activate Ubisoft connect next time you open the game And if that doesn’t work simply uninstall and reinstall the game👍

I unistalled then reinstalled ubisoft connect then before running the installer I right clicked it in downloads and troubleshooted it It was a compatibility problem or something stupid idk Either way after the troubleshooter fixed it I just saved the settings when it gave me the option and now it works perfectly Hope this helped!

Add ubisoft Uplay game to steam as a non steam game Steam will override Uplay controller API with steam one Since I figured it out that launching Ubisoft games from Steam fixes Uplay XBOX Bluetooth controller issues, launching Games trough steam is became mandatory fix for me Othervise you must connect Xbox controller with USB cable with Uplay or it will misbehave in wireless bluetooth mode

It's linked with my Ubisoft Connect account and I have it installed and it worked in the past with the R6 Extraction so I don't really understand the issue and would appreciate some advice on what to do from the community Thanks a lot! Edit: works still as of 2023 August

Open Ubisoft Connect as administrator, click the menu icon at the top left and go to settings Untick "Enable cloud save synchronization for supported games" Make backup of savegames - default location C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames Remove the save file from the original folder
