They arent fake, its just the app is decently old and lost a lot of its users that signed up when it first came out I myself left offer up in 2018 for letgo cause I found the interface to be more user friendly I legit only went back to offerup because they merged with letgo and changed how they did things Those old listings are exactly what they seem to be, old listings It doesnt hurt to

When you turn on notifications from offer up you get notifications about items you search for over and over and it gets annoying , so my guess is people turn notifications off due to this and in turn they don’t receive our messages to buy their stuff That’s my guess Something isn’t working right though

At this point, however, the TruYou status must be completed before you can continue buying and selling Customer Support cannot override this requirement Did some research and see that offer up is known for doing this and closing accounts for no reason I am not giving Offerup my data or ID for any damn reason, espcially in the age of data hacks
