Re: Eyeglass Lenses @ Costco by dad2000 » Wed Nov 27, 2013 4:49 pm Costco has a limited selection, but good quality, and we also exclusively purchase from them My daughter got 2 pairs of eyeglasses for about 50% of what they optical stores were charging for 1 pair Now we're confident that at least one pair will last until her prescription
- No-line bifocals [progressives] from Costco - Bogleheads. org
I am considering getting my next pair of glasses from Costco (no-line bifocals) Are they quite similar to other no-line products on the market? Decent field of vision? Relatively easy to adjust to? Easy to clean without smudging? Any other information you can provide about Costco no-line product will be greatly appreciated Thank you !!

Re: Costco online eyeglass frames by anonenigma » Wed Sep 11, 2024 7:57 pm If you're going to go to Costco for glasses, I recommend that you be one of the first through the door when the warehouse opens - which might be 15 minutes before the published time That way you're first in line at the glasses counter and don't have to wait to be helped

- Best place to get eyeglasses no vision insurance
Where do Bogleheads recommend getting eyeglasses? Not interested in contacts No vision insurance My employer doesnt provide it , self employed Leaning towards Costco or America's Best I have never had glasses before but am coming to the realization that I likely need them Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others

Costco will give you a price on whatever glasses and lenses you want that they have Then go to your regular optometrist and use your insurance and get a quote I used to have an optometrist Their glasses frames started above the cost of the entire glasses at Costco You could buy frames there for hundreds of dollars Just the frames
- My Eyeglasses Stretch Out So Much: What To Do?
I find eyeglasses so expensive that it is often offputting and I make cheaper frame choices OP, I was the one who suggested using two hands While plastic vs metal can make a difference, and proper size matters, your frame doesn't have to be expensive I wear glasses from Zenni Optical, $15-30 frames, no problem with width stretch

Costco had a promotion for $50 off of a second pair of glasses so I purchased a pair of Sunglasses with Transition Lens and a pair of regular glasses, both frames were well known brands
