I figured a new thread was warranted since these are actually shipping now Today I received a new Vudu 1-10 LE5 reticle (MRAD christmas tree with a crosshair in the middle rather than a circle-dot) Just going to post some first impressions here and will flesh this out as I start to use it 1)

IMO the vudu 1-10 sucks The reticle is too fine to quickly pick up at 1x, so it fails the basic purpose of running an LPVO The illumination is also not daylight bright Finally, the eyebox is pretty tight at 10x (probably true of any 1-10) Running up drills and transition drills with my 2 5-10 glx vs my buddies vudu, I had the same time and better hits with my glx at 2 5x vs the vudu at 1x

The glass difference between the SE XP8 to the PST Gen II is very noticeable, but the glass difference between the PST Gen II and the SMRS II Pro and Vudu is much less noticeable and harder to quantify event when looking through them back-to-back in the same environment Bushnell SMRS II Pro 1-6 5: I think this is a very underappreciated optic
