Only way to determine devices in Device Manager is to grab that info from say a Windows 7 install and compare to what devices that have drivers and those without drivers that show unknown Look at all of the pulldown menu options in Details Properties and see if it shows anything that may clue in as to the device
- Devices and Printers doesnt show the printer official icon
I think the older the printer "looks" as the operating systems advance, the less inclined they are to add a proper image of the printer to the Devices and Printers section As I said in another thread, Artificial Intelligence isn't yet practical for consumers to utilize
