- How do I download VIA? : r keyboards - Reddit
How do I download VIA? The website has no download links and the github has nothing, but I see people use it as software and not a website How do I get the download for it? Archived post New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast
- This is a pretty dang handy VIA alternative for QMK VIA boards . . . - Reddit
So apparently this remap-keys app site is very similar to VIA in that it's an online configurator for QMK, but it has a lot of really nice QoL features that VIA doesn't
- VIA: How to add more than 4 layers : r MechanicalKeyboards
So I set out looking for a way to increase VIA's layer count, and found that VIA's and QMK's documentation on the matter is quite inextensive, so I decided to make a guide for others who would like to add more layers to their VIA keyboards without the hassle of shoveling through boring documentation and google-translated chinese forums Enjoy!
- A Guide to Creating More Layers Using VIA - Reddit
Adding Layers to VIA So this is where things get fun! We get to add more layers to VIA, and luckily, this is super easy I think the default firmware only gives the user 4 layers to work with, but if you're using the miryoku layout, or any other layout that requires more, this next part will give you more layers if your keyboard has the memory
- VIA Download : r ErgoMechKeyboards - Reddit
So someone on my build post mentioned adding via support and it sounded like a good idea, only issue is that I have a custom Dactyl Manuform that isn't recognized by UseVia app No problem right? Well all of the videos appear to be from a year or two ago where the download button was just on the page, which now seems to have been removed
- Using VIA macros to launch programs : r MechanicalKeyboards - Reddit
Preface Hello keyboard people, I recently had an issue where I was trying to use a VIA macro to open program Thankfully, I found this guide: How to launch programs with Macros in VIA (for Windows) However, even with that guide, I had issues with consistency When I would run the macro, it would often end up searching for the program on Edge (ewwww, that's grody), rather than opening it So
- VIA is now on the web! : r MechanicalKeyboards - Reddit
I get that webhid on its own is a mistake, but if someone already has a chromium based browser installed + is a via user, doesn't that mean that "everything is lost already"? The person would already have given the via publishers access to almost the full hardware before, how would it be worse if you do it again but now using a browser?
- How to access layers from VIA? : r MechanicalKeyboards - Reddit
How to access layers from VIA? I'm trying to bind keys on my dz60rgb v2 pcb keeb throug VIA, just wondering how do I access the 2nd layer? Is there a specific key that will take the keeb to the 2nd layer? Does it work like a toggle or I have to press n hold it?
- Creating Multi-Key Macro with VIA or QMK : r MechanicalKeyboards - Reddit
While I'm pretty sure neither VIA nor Vial can do exactly what you're describing, Vial does include Combos - a set of specified keys pressed at the same time (within a set timeout like 50 milliseconds) that trigger another key or macro It wouldn't work exactly like you describe, since you'd have to press the keys simultaneously
- Newb; wondering some things about QMK and VIA : r olkb - Reddit
If there are no delays in Via, you can compile QMK with keychron keymap to get the very latest update of the firmware Btw , if you want to put the keyboard in bootloader mode, you can use Via and the "any" key in special tab to assign "reset" to a key No need to pull the spacebar and press the button while plugging in the cable
