- What happened to Interstate 5W and 5E? - AARoads
What happened to Interstate 5W and 5E? As always, I do suggest you consult my pages first: Quote Originally, there was also an I-5W This routing dates back to the original definition of I-5 in 1947 At that time, I-5 was defined to run along the present-day Route 99 routing from N of Los Angeles to Sacramento I-5W was defined to run along a routing that corresponds to present-day Route 120
- Harbor Freeway (I-110 and CA 110) - AARoads
Harbor Freeway (I-110 and CA 110) Great write up It's always interesting hearing about how these freeways got built This freeway has two of my favorite interchanges, The Judge interchange and 101 110 four level I've always been intrigued *if* they ever decide to replace that one day I would love to see it deconstructed in segments and preserved somewhere There's a project to improve the

Tolls proposed for Cottonwood Canyons - Page 3 I'm not a fan, and not just for the "how dare you ruin my view" If the idea was to mitigate avalanche closures, they should have built snow sheds on 210 This is not going to solve weather issues - chairlifts and gondolas and things of that sort can't run in high winds, which are fairly common in the mountains and often come along with the storms

- I-10 Express Lane Extension (LA County) - AARoads
I didn't want to create a new thread for this since the project is essentially finished or very close to it But the express lanes in San Bernardino County on I-10 are almost complete These will eventually tie in into the future express lanes that Metro plans to build along iTunes where they just widened it to add an HOV lane For contract two going east a new single toll lane will be
- HO-HO-HO! This is gonna be FUN-FUN-FUN! (I-405 closure in CA) - AARoads
Well, I was just looking at the thread about the I-710 with the link to metro net, and I'm surprised that Bigmikelakers, etc didn't mention this, as man, oh, man, this is gonna mess up everything in LA next weekend: The big closure of the 405 to knock down half the Mulholland Drive bridge!
