The main objective of this report is two-fold The first is to investigate the effect of various offensive variables on runs scored, and the second is to examine the relationship between runs and wins In the first part (Chapter 3), runs scored is the response variable with various offensive events acting as predictors In the second part (Chapter 4) however, runs scored will be a predictor
